The Situation: Bedner's had a good foundation with 5,441 Likes as of Nov. 2011 on Facebook. However, they were having a difficult time getting their fans to comment and like their posts. It also was a very time consuming process to consistently post on a daily basis. In addition, the total number of fans was stagnant and they wanted to capture their fan's email addresses for customer loyalty email marketing. Solution: First we started by having our professional design and programming team make the fan page more appealing. We added a new cover photo, about us page, and implemented a sweepstakes campaign. Copywriters posted engaging questions and updates on a daily basis. By promoting the sweepstakes campaign throughout the store and in their email marketing campaigns, Bender's saw a jump in their fan base and a tremendous amount of sharing and interaction.Results: Currently the fan page has 7,277 Likes. Successful Post Example: " Like this status if you visit Bender's more than once a month and how far do you drive to visit Bender's" - resulted in 139 Likes and 79 Comments. Sweepstakes every 45 days results in approximately 300 entries per campaign. |

The Situation: Even though Mango's is a popular restaurant in Fort Lauderdale they did not have a Facebook fan page or Facebook strategy in 2011. Mango's wanted to not only have fans but they wanted to do it as quickly as possible. They also wanted their fans to revisit their fan page as much as possible. The Solution: After the initial set up of their fan page which included having our professional design team create and program their cover photo, about us page, and sweepstakes campaign we produced a QR code linking customers to their sweepstakes campaign. The campaign was a $100 gift certificate given away monthly. We immediately had the QR code and sweepstakes announced on all marketing material that went out. Finally, in addition to sending a monthly email newsletter we send an email promoting the sweepstakes campaign on Facebook and special Facebook coupons. Results: 282 fans in their first month and the fan page currently has 1,092 likes. 444 total entries in sweepstakes to date. Mango's has received positive customer feedback on new fan page. Increase in event participation. |
